Hera at Fifty24SF
German street artist Hera’s debut solo exhibit Therapy Dropout is currently on view at Fifty24SF through July 24. Hera is the female half of the nationally recognized collaborative effort known as Herakut.
The ground level of the gallery has been taken over with paintings, sculpture and installation engulfing the entire space. The installation includes knit sweaters, paintings on wall, works on cardboard and canvas, sculpture, and a mobile consisting of chicken feet. The artwork is figurative and spontaneous, using words and images of people that engage the viewer head on. [Read more]
